A wise and wonderful woman is a heavenly sign,
when you don't LIVE! LOVE! LAUGH! and drink red wine.
If you doubt it, you'll hear her shout:
"Oh, come on over! Lets all go out!"
Some say laughter only lives in the child,
but a special one knows that the child grows old
if they're not born to be wild!
She'll share you her secrets
right down to the stem,
and why you only eat the caps
you should know this my friend!
She watches small people expand till they know
that it's the soil in your fingers
then the sand in your toes!
The greatest laugh can be hard to find,
but one that rings true rings the rest of time.
For a Bonnie Lass seems crass
without reason or rhyme,
and if it's not laughter that she's after.
